Hawaiian shirt for Calgary Flames fans

If you’re an avid Calgary Flames fan, then you’ll probably recognize this unique, one-of-a-kind jersey as belonging to the player known simply as “The Shirt.” This story is about the process of creating the ultimate fan apparel, including designing a shirt inspired by the local flavor of Calgary’s home arena, Scotiabank Saddledome.

Calgary Flames hockey fans in Alberta may soon get a break from their cold weather. A group of supporters has proposed a shirt that would read, “Hawaiian shirt for Calgary Flames fans.” In honor of the team’s current playoff run, the Calgary Flames Foundation is working with the University of Calgary to come up with the perfect shirt for fans.
