In conclusion, I would like to share a story of how I came to know of the team. I was a part of a hockey group who met at a pub, a bar that served a wide range of food and beverages and was attached to a casino. The owners of the bar were friends with the Calgary Flames. The owner knew that we had no connections with the team and asked if we would like to meet some of the players. My friend and I agreed that it would be a fun experience to meet a few of the players. After the meeting, we learned that we had been given tickets to the game. We went to the game and bought the best seats available. We went to the owner’s table to give him a big thank you and he shared the rest of the story.
