In conclusion, a few years ago, a dog called Golden had an operation to remove his cancerous tumour. After he recovered, his owners put him down, so they could have a new puppy to take care of. When they got to the pound, there was no sign of Golden. It wasn’t until after all the other dogs had been adopted that they realised Golden had been given to them. So, why didn’t they notice before?
